@PointeQueen14 The only things that will help with black heads are exfoliation and proper extraction. Try getting a treatment product/moisturizer that has 10% glycolic acid in it, that will help shed the top layer of the stratum corneum to remove any dead skin that you have that is blocking or clogging your follicles. Use pressure when trying to extract a blackhead, but try not to use your nails, this can cause hyperpigmentation and maybe scarring.
The “german girls” are using Clearasil xD
i have spent time researching over the counter products and this one is legit for sun protection. I hope this helps you and bless you in your future endeavors with skin care! If anyone has any questions on their skin care needs feel free to ask. Everyone has different needs for cleanser, toners and moisturizers. If anyone needs some advice I would be more than happy to help.
This is extremely important even during the winter time as UV rays are still penetrating the earths surface. Try looking for a sunscreen that contains zinc oxide and or titanium dioxide. Oil of Olay has a good spf moisturizer. You can get it for sensitive skin and its spf 30, i believe its called sun defense or something like that.
You are stripping the skin of natural oils when you cleanse and we need to put those oils back into the skin for proper functioning. Our skin needs whats called a lipid barrier for protection from outside environmental junk. We also have to make sure that we are using a moisturizer with spf 15 at the minimum for combating against UVB and UVA rays.
Redness can also be caused by exfoliationg too much. I would recommend using it 2-3 times a week, and make sure you are rubbing ever so slightly, we need to be gentle with our skin. And whatever you do, do not use any of the apricot scrub, that is way too harsh for someones face. In addition to all of this, it is important to moisturize night and day after cleansing, toning, and exfoliation.
Also, when you wash your face with a cleanser you are changing your skins natural ph so its important to make sure we tone our face after cleansing to make sure we don’t destroy our skins acid mantel (protective barrier) As for exfoliation, even though you dont get irritated doing it everyday, over exfoliation can cause microscopic tears in your skin which can lead to further skin issues down the road.
Hi! I was watching your skin care routine video..I am an esthetician, so I just thought I would share a few things with you to help you out! Using the neutrogena cleanser is good especially if you have breakouts, if you find that your face is tight after washing it, you might need to try using the neutrogena power cream with 2% salicylic acid, that wont strip as much as the gel cleanser.
mary kay acne treatment gel is better than tht one i love it.I LOVE YOU<3
you said Biore wrong!
yes, overusing an exfoliant more than once a week is bad for your skin. not just sensitive skin, all skin types. it can cause your top layer of skin to overdry, which can lead to breakouts.
@itsashley101 I LOVE LOVE MARY KAY
if u have oily skin and u find that moisturising makes u brek out. try using tacum powder to soothe it and make it softer rather than moisturiser so that u dnt put on as much oil. i dnt suggest u do this everyday tho. moisturise at least 3 times a week
I have oily and “acne-prone” skin and I use Biore Ice Cleanser- very refreshing in the morning. In the winter, I use Neutrogena Redness Soothing Cream Cleanser- the aloe in it soothes & reduces redness w/o added oil. (Alba, good 4 ur cheeks!) For moisturizer, I use Neutrogena Rapid Clear Acne Defense Face Lotion- oil free & clears breakouts overnight. I was using Clearsil On the Spot Treatment but since I’m out, I’ll try the Clean ‘n Clear you suggested. Thanks! Hope this helps!
nope, that stuff is pretty gentle you can use it everyday.
can you do a hair tutorial on the hair you have in this video?? i love all your hair styles!
