The list of do’s & don’ts includes: * bar soap = bad * milky cleanser with alpha hydroxy acids to gently exfoliate = good * use lactic and citric acid rather than glycolic acid, especially during the winter months. * Glycolic acid is a very well known alpha hydroxy acid which works wonderfully on oilier skin types in the spring and summer months. After exfoliating with a gentle cleanser (no soap!;), use a hydrating serum with hyaluronic acid or sodium PCA to add & bind moisture to the skin. This is good for general use but for oily skin types, should avoid the “creamy and milky” types. Should go for gel types.

ponds is probably breaking you out because it contains mineral oil and that is a big no no.
The photofinish primer actually broke me out. It did glide like a dream, but since I stopped my skin cooled down. I think it might’ve been the silicone.

hey girl, i have hyperpigmentation on my cheeks too. I started off using cream foundation but it broke me out so i switched to liquid foundation for a while but it made me look really old then i switched to loose mineral powder but it got cakey easily and accentuated some marks. now i use dior’s hydraction – it’s a tinted moisturizer with 20spf. it has buildable coverage and it’s the best of both (liquid/powder) worlds without any of the problems! i highly recommend it!

i find this EXTREMLY helpful and i have REALLY bad acne whenever i wear some of the makeup i have it cakes on in a few spots but this is great i would have never though of using the finish or water lol on the powder im so happy thank you!!
